"Buch & Holm"

Goal:
Upgrade the website, of the company Buch & Holm A/S, to a new version of its CMS platform with a new layout and updated content.

Time frame:
One year

Result:
A successful website-webshop which won the Sana B2B E-commerce Award for the best User Experience (UX).

Roles and responsibilities:

1) User Experience (UX) designer:

  • Formulated and implemented the UX strategy; identified Business goals and aligned them with user requirements.

  • Conducted User Experience research by interviewing the employees-users and participating in the conduction of customers' Usability tests.

  • Conducted competitive research.

  • Created the customer journey map and adjusted accordingly the former Information Architecture (labelling and navigation).

2) User Interface (UI) co-designer:

  • Applied changes using CSS for UI improvement and mobile responsiveness.

  • Suggested and/or changed the layout of landing pages.

3) SEO content writer and Proofreader:

  • Conducted keyword research and optimization.

  • Used Structured Data Markup for specific landing pages and content.

  • Checked and corrected errors in the textual web content.

4) Usability tester:

  • Tested browsers' and devices' compatibility and speed performance.

  • Tested the end-to-end online purchase process.

  • Reported usability bugs to the CRM platform provider and assisted in resolving most of them.
